The FIBAA Panel Appointing Committee for Certification of Continuing Education Courses appoints assessors for each certification procedure. The FIBAA Certification Commission for Continuing Education Courses elects from their members a representative of the HEI, a professional practitioner and a student to serve in the FIBAA Panel Appointing Committee. The election takes place after the election of the members of the Executive Board, and as required. The Committee regulates the appointment of assessors by mutual agreement. 

If the FIBAA Panel Appointing Committee is temporarily unable to act due to the absence or bias of a Committee Member, the Executive Board can appoint a suitable substitute member from the FIBAA Certification Commission for Continuing Education Courses for the purpose of appointing assessors for certification procedures. The substitute member replaces the committee member until the cause for the disqualification is removed.
