FIBAA Foundation Council: Elections successfully completed (25.01.2012)
FIBAA Foundation Council decided its new composition.
Professor Gerhard Riemer, Head of education, research, and innovation of the Federation of Austrian Industries in Vienna was elected as president. Professor Klaus Landfried, former president of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) in Heidelberg was elected as vice president. Professor Dr. Jürg Manella, former Director of the Executive MBA HSG at the University of St. Gallen was re-elected as vice president.
The new members of FIBAA Foundation Council are: Dr. Barbara Dorn, Head of Education of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) and Professor Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, Rector of the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) and former Science Minister of North-Rhine Westphalia.
One seat on FIBAA Foundation Council which is accorded to the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) is currently left vacant as Sybille von Obernitz has been appointed Senator for Economic Affairs in Berlin.
The FIBAA Foundation Council is currently made up of five German, three Austrian as well as three Swiss representatives.
