Recognition by Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC)
In April 2019, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) recognised FIBAA as an international accreditation agency in Turkey. FIBAA is thus one of only a few international accreditation agencies that have been awarded recognition for five years. The recognition proves that FIBAA's quality standards meet the THEQC's requirements for foreign agencies in Turkey.

Accreditation Procedures
Since 2019, FIBAA has conducted more than 40 programme accreditations in Türkiye, partnering with leading higher education institutions including the Istanbul Medipol University, the Ibn Haldun University, the Altinbas University and others.

FIBAA and THEQC Launch Strategic Cooperation in Quality Assurance
On 26 February 2026, Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) and Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation - FIBAA (FIBAA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation in the field of quality assurance.
The MoU establishes a framework for:
▪ Sharing knowledge and expertise in quality assurance
▪ Strengthening institutional relations
▪ Building sustainable cooperation between both agencies
Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR)
Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR) aims to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of Social, Humanities, and Basic Sciences undergraduate programs in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by organizing training, workshops, and informative events related to evaluation and accreditation processes.
