In September 2020, the FIBAA Managing Director Mag. Diane Freiberger and Viktoria Tischanski, FIBAA Division Manager for international processes, accepted the invitation from the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, and at the online conference "International Accreditation - Factor of Education Quality Improvement" gave a lecture on the subject of "International Accreditation in Central Asia". FIBAA has been particularly active in the Republic of Kazakhstan for over 8 years and is officially recognised there by the Ministry of Education and Science. The conference offered a good opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives of higher education institutions, public authorities and accreditation agencies about quality assurance in Central Asia and to discuss the benefits of European accreditation practice in Central Asia.
